Call for PaperTracks – ICAI-LAW'2025
In line with the High Royal Guidelines calling for the adoption of digitalization as a strategic choice to build a skilled Morocco and to enhance the country's competitiveness and attractiveness—thereby strengthening the Kingdom’s position at both regional and international levels—and as part of the university's contribution to the implementation of the national strategy “Digital Morocco 2030”, through supporting the use of digital technologies by public administrations, promoting applied scientific research, and fostering social innovation through a participatory approach involving the public and private sectors as well as civil society; In a legal world undergoing profound transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping legal practices and the justice professions. From predictive justice to smart contracts and algorithm regulation, AI raises new ethical, legal, and professional challenges. In this context, the ICAI-LAW’2025 conference aims to create an interdisciplinary platform for reflection on the growing impact of AI on legal systems, through the lenses of research, practice, and governance. The event will bring together academics, legal professionals, computer scientists, and policymakers to discuss key transformations such as predictive justice, smart contracts, decision-making algorithms, and the regulation of autonomous technologies. Focusing on cross-disciplinary approaches between law, artificial intelligence, and the humanities, ICAI-LAW'2025 will foster constructive dialogue around the legal challenges of the digital transformation: AI governance, data protection, algorithmic fairness, and the evolution of legal skills. All accepted and presented papers will be published in an indexed journal, ensuring wide scientific and professional visibility.
